GO-Box-Guide
Before you enter the Austrian road network subject to tolls find out about your obligations to cooperate.
Please also check the data on the customer receipts you received at the GO point of sale. Have incorrect
data corrected on site!
Always carry the vehicle declaration in the vehicle!
You can download the current vehicle declaration at any time in the SelfCare portal or via the following query after identifying yourself by means of the personal identification number (PAN) and vehicle on-board unit identification number (OBU ID). You can also obtain the latest vehicle declaration from the GO point of sale.
Before each journey check the holder, functionality of the GO-Box and the correct installation.
For all questions about your GO-Box, contact a GO point of sale or our ASFINAG Service Center.

To do this, listen for the acoustic signals from the GO-Box while you are driving.
Before and after driving, press the push button for less than two seconds and watch the LED displays.
Please note that the status query only shows the technical functionality of the GO-Box. A statement
about possible locks cannot be derived from this.
In case of malfunctions, please contact the nearest GO point of sale.
Preset: Inform the GO point of sale of the minimum number of axles or number of axles of the tractor unit/
tractor vehicle. This is stored as a basic category on the GO-Box. The basic category cannot be undercut
and can only be changed at a GO point of sale.
Check: The set number of axles flashes if you press the push button for less than two seconds. Check this
setting before and after each journey.
Change: Press the push button for more than two seconds to change the number of axles.
Always adjust the category to the actual number of axles with which you are travelling at the time of toll
payment (change the number of axles).
There are three settings to choose from (category): 2, 3 and 4.
The number of axles must include semitrailers and trailers and attached lift axles, tandem axles and
double axles. Supporting axles and trailers pulled by buses or motorhomes are not to be taken into
account when determining the number of axles.
Beeps inform you when passing through the toll gantries about the transactions between the GO-Box
and toll gantry and about the need for action.
1 short beep = transaction OK
2, 4 short beeps or NO beep = Drive to the nearest GO point of sale for more information

Toll obligation
Find out in good time before your journey about the toll obligation in Austria and about the handling and function of the GO-Box.
Here's how to fit the GO-Box correctly
Only a correctly fitted GO-Box can communicate with the toll gantries without interference. Please fit the GO-Box correctly to avoid substitute toll claims.
In case of non-payment or partial payment
If you have not paid the GO toll correctly, you will have to pay it retroactively. This is only possible under certain conditions!
